Wairakei Resort's Christmas Celebrations

Wairakei Resort Taupo and Chateau Tongariro Hotel treated clients to the award winning New Zealand chef Ben Bayly’s new Commercial Bay restaurant - Ahi.

The pre-Xmas long lunch was a ‘thank you’ from the hotels to the clients that have supported them through this very trialling year. The name of the restaurant meaning ‘Fire’ in Te Reo and the design concept correlated perfectly with the hotels’ geothermal Wairakei and volcanic Ruapehu environments.
