REFURBISHMENTS CONTINUE FORHOTEL ARMITAGE This comes as the hotel’s rooms and sales coordinator Lizzie Seekup says next year is shaping up to be exceptionally busy – particularly in May. “With many dates already at full capacity, we’ve had to turn down some short-lead bookings, so securing a spot ahead of time is essential.” Event manager Soraya Hebert adds that Trinity Wharf is already seeing a surge in bookings for Christmas functions. “This is fantastic to see because it means businesses are continuing to prioritise celebrating their teams, even after a challenging financial year. “Additionally, large-scale events and conferences continue to return to Trinity Wharf and the Bay of Plenty, which is always exciting and reflects the strong appeal MEETINGON THEWATERFRONT ~ GET IN EARLY of our venue.” Hebert says Trinity Wharf ’s waterfront restaurant has never looked better. “We recently installed neutral-toned carpet to create a sophisticated, blank canvas for events while highlighting the breathtaking views. “The two-tiered layout of the restaurant has been reimagined, with softer grey tones in the chairs, all enhancing the resort-like ambience we often associate with overseas retreats. “We've also updated our function menus to emphasise fresh, high-quality, and healthy options, while ensuring we cater to all dietary requirements,” Hebert adds. “Crafted by our executive chef, Rob Forsman, in collaboration with Kex Catering, our menus are designed to perfectly suit our guests. On the drinks front, we’re excited to partner with local craft brands to offer unique Bay of Plenty beverage selections.” In terms of accommodation, Trinity Wharf has moved towards more sustainable practices. This includes installing smart lock systems and replacing single-use toiletries with luxury New Zealand made Ashley & Co products in reusable dispensers.
