As the year rolled on, it became apparent that virtual events were the only way to run events and, luckily, many audiences embraced this new medium. New skills were needed, such as how to manage speakers remotely, and the importance of good internet and AV.
The industry adapted by trying new ways to connect with a range of interactive activities like online cocktail making, wellness breaks, one-on-one video meetings, gamification, virtual exhibitions, networking and producing great video content to engage and delight our virtual audience.
EventsAIR became part of this journey in May 2020 with its launch its OnAIR virtual and hybrid event solution. OnAIR allows clients to run full end-to-end virtual events, conferences, and tradeshows – all within a single platform. Now on its 4th release, OnAIR delivers a range of benefits for event planners looking to hold virtual or hybrid events.
With over 300,000 attendees having used the platform, we have grown OnAIR to handle a range of events including large scale complex events down to mid-size conferences.
The future of events will remain a mixed bag of in-person and virtual for the foreseeable future, and choosing the right event technology partner will be part of the secret of the success.
