The Professional Conference Organisers Association Inc (PCOA) today is revealing details of PCOA20.

Barry Neame, PCOA president, against the backdrop of Covid-19, says few, if any, people would have thought the business events industry could be so challenged.

“Regrettably, due to COVID-19, PCOA has had to rethink plans for the annual conference, which was to be held in beautiful Tasmania. “However, given that travel and movement in general around the world is proving to be difficult, we have used this opportunity to be creative and find other ways to bring our community together, live, local and connected.

“The PCOA20 conference theme, FLEXIBILITY IS THE FUTURE - LIVE, LOCAL AND CONNECTED, will provide a much-needed platform for the business events community to learn, connect, network and develop by delivering a hybrid event. This will be a ‘live’ in-person event at a main hub, supported by satellite locations, and with a virtual component for those who want to view from the comfort of their office. “The interactive two-day program will examine case studies, explore new ways of preparing for the future, staying connected, and coping with the unexpected.”

The live site will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, with satellite events within various of states of Australia and in New Zealand from Monday the 7th to Tuesday the 8th December 2020. The PCOA is offering everyone the opportunity to attend PCOA20 in person or virtually. The choice is yours!
