PCOA 2019 Kicks off in Sydney

The 12th annual PCOA showcase officially kicked off at the ICC Sydney this morning with a rousing acknowledgement of country performed by a group from the Kari indigenous support foundation.

This year’s theme is Anything is Possible in which delegates get to choose between two breakout streams, The ‘Ingenuity Lab’ and the ‘Knowledge Foundation’ as well as a number of keynote speakers including Amna Karra-Hassan, who has navigated the maze of being an Australian first generation Muslim and Tahira Endean, head of events at SITE global.

The event is exploring new ways of thinking, working and creating, offering a combination of practical and thought-provoking sessions delivered by industry leaders, practitioners and ‘edge-thinkers’.

With another innovation this year there are two MCs - Amanda Stevens, a high profile thought leader, and Andrew Klein, considered one of Australia's foremost speakers and trainers on presentation skills and pitching for business.  The duo are sharing the stage and the floor, mixing with the audience to ensure participation.
