Gilbert Enoka Gilbert Enoka

PCOA20 Keynote Speaker announcement

The All Blacks, perhaps the most admired rugby side in the world, have a lot for which to thank ‘team player’ Gilbert Enoka.

He is New Zealand’s premier mental-skills and performance coach and has built an enviable career which has taken in not only elite sporting teams but the corporate world and other fields.

The sought-after speaker gives insights into the psychology behind individual and team success in world-level sport and how this can be applied to any walk of life.

It is timely then that Gilbert is to be a keynote speaker at the 13th Annual PCOA Hybrid Conference and Virtual Exhibition from Monday 07 to Tuesday 08 December 2020.

His topic, ‘Getting the team back together’ will provide PCOA20 attendees with a unique insight into what mental skills will be required in the business events industry moving forward. Gilbert will unpack all the tools needed to re-build a team into a stronger and more agile group.

PCOA members, and those in the business events industry generally, never in their working lives have experienced a time such as Covid-19 has brought about.  Many people have been working part-time; not working at all; or some, working harder than ever to survive.

With a new year less than three months away, it is time to start planning for the future and getting the team back together again.

Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) is sponsoring Gilberts presentation. Lisa Gardiner, Tourism New Zealand Global Manager Business Events, says: “We see this as a great opportunity to provide inspiration to some of the major players in our industry, coaching them towards new ways of thinking and a winning future.”

Gilbert has been invited to be a keynote speaker all over the world, talking about leadership, performing under pressure, mental management, strategic planning, effective business management and building thriving cultures.
