It would be hard to beat Whale Watch Kaikōura’s new waka, Te Ao Marama, as a venue with a difference. The 24m vessel can carry up to 116 passengers including twelve luxury seats upstairs in the Captain’s Cabin. Another experience is the seven stops along the highway that tell the story of manawhenua through art installations, including murals, tekoteko and story panels.
