CINZ Conference 2019 set to inspire new thinking

Registration is now open for the Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Annual Conference and AGM to be held in Queenstown from 29 to 31 October.


 
This year’s conference theme is ‘Inspiring New Thinking’ and a host of speakers, panels and workshops will tackle topics including incentive events, resilience, leadership, international trends, keeping the pipeline flowing, and sustainability initiatives.
 
CINZ Chief Executive Sue Sullivan says Queenstown is an inspiring destination for this year’s conference, acclaimed as incentive haven and set in a magnificent backdrop.
 
“Our conference delegates will have a chance to take in the very best of Queenstown, with the main event happening at Skyline Queenstown, the welcome function at Gibbston Valley Winery, and our conference finale dinner at Walter Peak Station with a return trip across Lake Wakatipu on the Earnslaw steamer,” she says.
 
“We will be continuing the CINZ educational program, keeping our eyes up and looking here, Aotearoa New Zealand, and abroad for inspiration. Our international speakers are industry experts who will share their knowledge on how to design events with a ‘wow’, how to inspire delegates and create lasting memories, and the latest thinking on leadership and building resilience within an organisation.”
 
Tourism New Zealand are supporting CINZ by hosting international speaker, Greg Bogue and bringing in some of their international staff to share first-hand insights from key markets.
 
Keynote speaker, Greg Bogue will share his expertise and 30 years’ experience designing and creating events that make a lasting impression. As Chief Experience Architect for Maritz Global Events, his focus is on improving the guest journey and overall experience in meetings, events and incentive travel programmes to create greater impact for both organisations and their guests. Greg has received numerous awards, most recently the PCMA's Visionary Award as Supplier of the Year 2019, and he was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Successful Meetings.
 
Resilience Institute Chief Executive, Brad Hook will use his research-based framework to give CINZ delegates practical skills and insights and into human resilience and wellbeing, both at a personal and organisation level.
 
Brad has worked internationally in a range of roles spanning media, technology and human development and his writing has been featured in a range of business and travel magazines, including several cover stories.
