AIME opens in three weeks

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) will open its doors to the reimagined event on 18 February at Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre.

The new format has garnered wide range from new buyers, with an increase of over 50% registering to attend compared to last year, and 53% of buyers having never attended AIME before.

Buyers from 38 different countries will converge on Melbourne city for three days of knowledge exchange, networking and business meetings.

For the first time this year, the AIME Knowledge Programme is open to hosted buyers, media and exhibitors, providing an opportunity not only for personal and professional development, but also for developing new networks through shared experiences.

The Asia Pacific chapter of the ICCA Business Exchange will be anchored at AIME and is part of a comprehensive and immersive day of education sessions focusing on community building and creating meaningful, lasting relationships.

The knowledge programme on Monday 18 February will be followed by the AIME welcome event, held in the nearby Dockland’s district and hosted by The Atlantic Group, and a second networking evening will be at South Wharf on the Tuesday evening.

Additionally, each day on the exhibition floor, there are scheduled, catered morning and afternoon breaks where buyers and exhibitors can come together to continue conversations, follow up on contacts, learn from each other and forge enduring relationships to build business opportunities for the year.

Tourism New Zealand, alongside the 100% Pure New Zealand stand partners, have an impressive presence on the exhibition floor, taking the opportunity to connect with the larger share of Asia Pacific hosted buyers, driving business prospects for 2019 and beyond.
