Government, business and community leaders from the United States and New Zealand will attend the fourth US NZ Partnership Forum in Christchurch from February 20 to 22, 2011. The announcement of the host city was made in Washington recently at the AGM of the US NZ Council. Over 100 attendees are expected to discuss how the expanding relationship between the two countries can be further enhanced. Executive director of the NZ US Council Stephen Jacobi says the forum has met three times since 2006 - twice in Washington and once in Auckland. 'The forum has successfully established new momentum and provided an important platform for both governments to take it to a whole new level,' he says.
