happening on September 3. At

Being held in Nelson on November 6
and 7, the conference will have the theme
‘Together towards tomorrow’ and will
include an indepth session on collaborating
(while retaining a competitive environment)
to meet the challenges of the future.
Specific topics will include making
sure that existing and future convention
centres are financially viable. This is in
the light of a probable three new facilities
coming on line – in Auckland, Christchurch
and Queenstown.
The session will also address the preferred
attributes of a new chief executive, with

will occupy the minds of delegates at this year’s Conventions
& Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Conference.
